The story behind Afrobox
Emmanuel Baafi is a 30-year-old entrepreneur, professional chef, and founder of Charlotte's Foods Ltd, the parent company behind Afrobox, Efie Nkwan Products, Smart Serve, and Gold Coast Catering. Afrobox is a food subscription and catering brand based in Ontario, Canada, offering weekly African-inspired meals across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Originally from Ghana, Emmanuel brings his passion for African food, cooking, hospitality, and entrepreneurship into everything he builds.
With a background in professional kitchens and food service, Emmanuel developed a strong passion for creating authentic, flavorful meals while making African cuisine more convenient and accessible to people across the GTA.
His vision goes beyond simply selling food. Emmanuel is building a trusted African food brand that represents quality, consistency, culture, and excellent customer service. Through Afrobox, he's introducing more people to delicious African-inspired meals while creating a convenient solution for busy individuals and families.

Afrobox offers weekly meals through monthly subscription packages, allowing customers to subscribe once and receive freshly prepared meals throughout the month — ideal for people who love African food but don't always have time to shop, prep, and cook from scratch.
Our menu features a variety of flavorful dishes inspired by African cuisine, including customer favorites like:
